Sex and intimate relationships are the focus of Cathy Beaton, MS, NCPsyA, a leading New York City Sex and Relationship therapist who specializes in helping couples and individuals engage authentically in loving partnerships and marriages.
Cathy Beaton provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for male and female sexual disorders of desire, arousal and orgasm derived from medical, psychological and/or age-related causes. Cathy addresses emotionally charged sexual and intimate relationship problems, such as avoidance of communication, sex, desire and connection, that are situational and triggered by negative thoughts and behaviors. She expertly balances traditional psychotherapy and sex therapy knowledge with innovative strategies and real-time solutions designed to meet the unique requirements of each person and couple. Partners learn to share their own needs and fears with each other, establishing the foundation for relationship success in a context of awareness, compassion and responsibility.
